Treat people equitably in line with the practice equality & diversity policy

To offer a same day appointment to children

To offer a same day appointment if the patient feels it is urgent

To process private work requests within 14 working days

To process subject access requests within 30 working days

To process repeat prescriptions within 2 working days

To offer equitable access to our service to all patients

To acknowledge all complaints to within 24 hours of the complaint being made and provide a formal response within 30 working days

To work effectively with our Primary Care Network to promote health and well-being of local population

To focus on our staff health and well-being and promote transparency within our team

To work on within an appointment system

To provide an approximate time that a clinician will see / speak to the patient

To provide an explanation for any waiting times that run beyond 20 minutes

To answer all telephone calls within 3 rings

To maintain effective communication with our patients at all times using a patients preferred method of contact

Our Requests to Patients

You are responsible for your own health. We will provide medical advice. Please act upon it

Treat the practice staff with courtesy and respect at all times

To attend surgery whenever possible rather than requesting home visit

To keep the surgery informed of good / bad aspects of its service

To order repeat medications on time and allow 2 working days to process

To work with our receptionists to ensure patients are signposted to the correct service person time etc

To maintain health by attending screening services when invited

To attend all appointments as far as possible and to cancel so they can be given to another patient

To protect nhs resources by accessing additional services that may be more appropriate than a GP
